Originally from Sapporo, Hokkaido, she trained in Japanese cuisine before moving to Singapore where she has lived for over 20 years.

In September 2012 she opened Sakana Keria in Orchard to bring authentic Japanese izakaya culture to Singapore.

“My grandparents ran an izakaya in Hokkaido. We hope to continue serving heartfelt Japanese cuisine here in Orchard.”

Daily flown-in seafood including salmon, otoro and hamachi prepared by expert chefs.
